Description
May be used in jams, jellies, chutney, etc.
The pads, buds and flowers are edible. Wait until ripe!
APPROXIMATE size will be 1-2’ tall/wide (dependent on growth pattern). I have mature plants that I choose pads from for smaller orders, and I also have the option to pick larger or smaller upon request. If you order a 6”+ plant it will have a roots.
Smaller cacti are available if you wish to keep them indoors, however, since they are currently living outside in the Kansas Summer heat, we recommend acclimating them to their new environment by exposing them to it for an hour, take back outside, and repeat for a couple of days. Increase exposure to the desired living space and only water when the soil is dry several inches down.
Remove a “Pad” and start a new plant for edible uses or gifting.
Medicinally, the plant can help with cholesterol, diabetes, viral infections, treat burns, treat hangovers and more!
Must ship Priority as it is a live plant.
All plants will be shipped bare root as they tend to “hold up” during the traumatic shipping experience. Cacti soil with good drainage (and holes in the planter if you intend to pot), and little attention will keep these guys happy. They love chill music and are extra cute when they flower!!!
The cacti of your choice will be harvested and packed on site, then shipped same or next business day.
Priced per 3”, please adjust your quantity if you are ordering more than one plant. 2 “items” would be a 6”+ plant (we’re very generous though!). Adjustments to the listings coming soon.
